PDI: Unsung Heroes PDI Healthcare

This PDI “Unsung Heroes” project was a fun one as it had many interesting elements to the build. First I created a system that would allow attendees to have their photos taken, and these photos would be transmitted to a server, and placed in a queue so additional information could be added to the job.

The photo and additional information would be used to render / composite pseudo magazine covers which were then spooled to a set of printers and manually framed. Their photos and names were also saved to a database which was used to power a handful of dynamic displays around the booth.
